Bill Morrow Public Lecture 2010
The lecture was titled 'The Australia China Friendship Society: past, present and future'. Mike Williss drew upon his experiences in China and long association with the Society to give an excellent talk. Mr Ke Yasha later expressed surprise that the Australia China Society was formed as early as 1951, ranking Australia as one of the first such societies amongst the western nations. The South Australian branch of ACFS came into existence in 1966.

ACFS 2010 Bi-ennial National Conference.

The 2010 Bi-ennial National Conference of ACFS Pty Ltd took place in Adelaide from April 9th to April 11th. Delegates from most Australian states attended.The agenda included the election of office-bearers and some constitutional changes. During the conference Mr Qing Boming, a senior member of the Chinese Peoples' Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries advised that the CPAFFC will issue an invitation for ten Australian ACFS delegates to attend a Friendship Forum in September 2010. The conference resolved to invite delegates from all branches including NSW and ACT.
